Dr. Federici holds an Adjunct Faculty position at York University and is a recognized authority on eating disorder treatment and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).

Her research focuses on the lived experience of individuals with eating disorder and/or those with borderline personality disorder with particular attention to emotions and body image. She has written on methods for adapting DBT for the treatment of eating disorders and she studies ways to disseminate and evaluate how teams implement evidence-based treatments.

Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals and invited book chapters. Her extensive experience makes her the perfect contributor to your peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, book reviews or media outlet.
